At the start of April I provided flowers for a beautiful couple for their wedding at The Alverton Hotel in Truro.
The brief from the bride was to have blush pinks and whites with greenery and lots of flowers in the arrangements. April brings a lot of selection in terms of variation of flowers - I think it might be my favourite season for flowers.
The bouquets were delivered to the brides parents house in Newquay early morning on their wedding day, buttonholes delivered to the groom and then I headed to the hotel to set up the decoration.
I placed a floral garland on the book signing table for their ceremony, which was made up with eucalyptus, Roses, Ranunculus, Stocks and Lisianthus. After the ceremony this was used to decorate a section of the top table.
There was two large planter posts that were decorated with flowers to mark the start of the aisle. The planters were covered with greenery such as ivy and Eucalyptus and then decorated with flowers to match the bridal party arrangements. I used flowers such as Roses, Ranunculus, Lisianthus, Stocks and Gypsophila. These were then finished off with some fairy lights to make them look extra special. After the ceremony these planters were moved to either side of the entrance doors to provide extra decoration for the room.
